The Paper Boat was designed by the self- taught Sculpter George Wyllie as a memorial to the city of Glasgow's ship building industry.he was an incredible character.I was lucky enough to see this boat when it was on the river Nith in Dumfries. It also sailed on the Clyde the Thames and eventually on the river Hudson in New York.
